  2. has acquired knowledge of toxicology, epidemiology, and (bio)statistics at a BSc level;
  3. is able to participate in a multidisciplinary environment;

Course content
This course aims to provide starting TXEH students, originating from various Bachelor's programmes, with a common foundation in the main disciplines needed in risk assessment: toxicology, epidemiology and statistics.

Literature/study material used:
Epidemiology: an introduction, by Kenneth J Rothman (ISBN: 0195135547)
Casarett and Doul's Toxicology: the basic science of poison (ISBN-10: 0071470514).
 
Registration:
Only students enrolled in the master TXEH, they are enrolled automatically after acceptance to the programme.
 
Mandatory for students in own Master’s programme:
Yes.
 
Optional for students in other GSLS Master’s programme:
No.
 
Prerequisite knowledge:
Basic knowledge of toxicology, epidemiology and statistics.
