- has knowledge in the main topics in risk assessment independent of his/her bachelor background;
- has acquired knowledge of toxicology, epidemiology, and (bio)statistics at a BSc level;
- is able to participate in a multidisciplinary environment;

Course content
This course aims to provide starting TXEH students, originating from various Bachelor's programmes, with a common foundation in the main disciplines needed in risk assessment: toxicology, epidemiology and statistics.

Casarett and Doul's Toxicology: the basic science of poison (ISBN-10: 0071470514).
Registration:
Only students enrolled in the master TXEH, they are enrolled automatically after acceptance to the programme.
