Course description:
The master’s symposium I&I is organized annually by Master’s students to provide a stage for second year’s to present the results of their first internships.
All second year’s prepare and present a poster about their work to a jury of scientists from outside and within the UU.
An abstract is written in advance and from these abstracts a jury selects +/- 6 speakers for an oral presentation of 20 min.
The symposium is the first opportunity for most students to individually communicate their research data by means of abstract and poster. Feedback is provided on their presentation.
The programme is completed by key-note speakers from the field of I&I, who are invited from abroad.
Furthermore, these scientists give master-classes and are part of the poster-jury.
In short, the symposium provides a great setting for training those skills young scientist need for their future career.
