The successful student has developed the sophisticated critical vocabulary and analytical tools required to enable her/him to respond in a complex fashion to literary and cultural texts from the English-speaking world, in doing so displaying a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English and a command of academic referencing.

The Writing seminar takes a process writing approach: students present their essay at various stages and receive peer and instructor feedback.
The Speaking seminar practices argumentation techniques through group discussions & presentations based on literary texts drawn from the Anglophone world
