From academic knowledge to new value creation in professional practice
Utrecht University aims to be a research and teaching institution that contributes to the economy and society. In order to apply its expertise and develop its knowledge it is crucial to connect to businesses and other organisations. This internship enables students to gain experience in applying and developing academic knowledge in professional practice, to create new value and to discover future career opportunities. The internship thus provides the opportunity to experience how academic knowledge can be turned into new value. This internship can be done to complete the Minor Entrepreneurship (for non-economics students). The student is responsible for finding a hosting or supporting organisation and developing the internship proposal. The proposal should contain the activities that will be performed, information about the external supervisor, suggestions for the topic and approach, initial references to academic literature and a suggested planning.
After approval by the internship coordinator the student will be enrolled in Osiris.
