Course goals
This course consists of 5 independent topics, each one with a length of one month. Each topic corresponds to 1,5 ECTS, and partial topics can be taken, to be combined with the topics in the Fall semester (NS-TP530M), to complete the 7,5 ECTS required for one Master Course. The course will be taught in Utrecht, Amsterdam and Leiden, by several different lecturers. The topics are: 1) February 2011: Dissipation in Quantum Systems: the Caldeira-Leggett Model (C. Morais Smith, Utrecht) 2) March 2011: Bose-Einstein Condensation (H. Stoof, Utrecht) 3) April 2011: Disordered systems (J.S. Caux, Amsterdam) 4) May 2011: To be announced (Amsterdam) 5) June 2011: Renormalization group methods (V. Vitelli, Leiden)

5. N.N., Classification of topological insulators (June)
