| In this course we will consider several fundamental methods and techniques in vision research (e.g. Signal detection theory, Fourier analysis, Psychophysical methods, Bayesian models). These methods and techniques will be treated in more depth than in the standard textbooks. The course will focus on experimental methods and analysis of stimuli and data. It will be a preparation for doing research in psychophysics (including vision, audition and haptics). |
